Gone are the times when the most stressful part of planning a wedding was the weather, or your uncle Geoff having a few too many champagnes during the reception and causing a scene. Now we must deal with this ever-changing climate, and we at Madden & Co Events are here with you every step of the way. We know how stressful it is at the moment, not knowing if and when things can go ahead. It’s marring an otherwise exciting time. But we are here to make sure you get married, the way you want to get married.
Since the dreaded C word arrived, we have noticed a shift away from big weddings. A trend we are 100% behind is micro weddings. Elopement, but with a twist, where you get a small number of your nearest and dearest together to celebrate what truly matters; your marriage, your love, and the adventure you are about to embark on. It’s an intimate affair, filled with love and joy and being able to completely immerse yourself in the day and the environment. It’s allowing people to get married, quicker, with their families, rather than waiting for restrictions to finally fully ease.
One of our favourite elements of micro weddings is just how incredibly seamless they are. It really brings back the joy to wedding planning, allowing our couples to really ponder exactly what their wedding day means to them, and we create a bespoke day that reflects them, without all the noise.
