Mel and Mark’s property wedding was one of those events that as a vendor, you could not ask for more. Situated at the most stunning location (the lush acreage of Ravensdale Retreat), with the best team of vendors (we’ll get to them later) – it really was the most magical day for the most magical couple. Mel & Mark trusted us to create something epic for them and their guests – and we think we delivered (don’t take our word for it though, check out the images below courtesy of Brooke Biro Photography).
A daytime wedding right at the beginning of Autumn, our bride and groom wanted nothing more than to celebrate with their nearest and dearest with love, good food, so many laughs and an intimate affair. We got Monty onboard from Holy Matrimonty and not only did he deliver his usual wet-yourself-laughing ceremony, he MC’d and stayed with the wedding party celebrating throughout the night. We created a truly breathtaking event, with several relaxing zones for the guests to catch up and enjoy the festivities (the balloon garland surrounding the pool made it feel like Palm Springs!) With our incredible décor, hand written itinerary of the day courtesy of the insanely talented Bec from BB Collective, delicious feast by Little Seed Catering and the dulcet tones of Party Latte, the event flowed seamlessly, and the guests partied on the property well into the night.
A few personal touches from Mel & Mark made for some truly special memories (have you ever heard of a bride going through every person at her wedding with an anecdote?). We created this event for them, tailored every aspect to suit their relaxed and easy-going nature and it made for a beautiful afternoon. We co-ordinated every aspect of the day so that Mel, Mark, and their friends and family could be truly present and celebrate the magical day.
Your wedding reflects you and the love you want to celebrate. Mel and Mark didn’t want to be separated prior to the wedding so stayed together right until Mel walked down the aisle. Mel looked effortlessly beautiful in her Lily Grace Bridal gown, wanting a simple and minimalist look which April Harvey Makeup and Madeleine Styling achieved. They wanted their portraits taken prior to the ceremony, so we left on buggies, fearing for our lives and cackling with laughter as the wind blew our hair every which way. It made for some epic laughter later in the afternoon when the creative team went exploring the grounds with a few cans of coloured smoke. They wanted to entertain their guests, so we co-ordinated an incredible magician to circle the guests while they drank champagne. They wanted their guests to let their hair down, so we provided glamping on the property underneath the magical twinkle lights. Every aspect was them, through and through, and we absolutely loved every second of putting together this bespoke wedding.
Settling into the evening, the incredible team at Sirones’ made pizza’s on site, serving their delicious food to the guests while they partied the night away, sipping vodka and gin made by Mel & Mark. We mean it when we say that every wedding we create is tailored to each individual couple, making your wedding truly unique.
